UZouk Summer Academy - The Confidence Project 💛
This summer we’re doing things a little differently…
The Confidence Project is a special 3-week summer experience for Foundations level dancers who are ready to challenge themselves, grow their confidence and create something beautiful together ✨
Over the course of 3 Fridays, we’ll work together on a choreography project focused on movement quality, teamwork, musicality, performance and confidence on the dancefloor - ending with a filmed group video project on the final night 🎥
This project is not about perfection.
It’s about growth.
About learning to trust yourself more.
About dancing with intention, connecting with others and stepping outside your comfort zone in a supportive and encouraging environment ❤️
✨ WEEK 1 — LEARN & CONNECT - 10 July
We’ll start learning the choreography together step by step while focusing on connection, teamwork and understanding the movement.
🌱 WEEK 2 — GROW & IMPROVE - 17 July
Time to refine!
We’ll continue and finish the choreography while diving deeper into movement quality, technique, musicality and performance.
🎥 WEEK 3 — SHINE ON CAMERA - 24 July
Film day 👀✨
We’ll bring everything together and create a group video project to capture all the hard work, growth and fun we shared over these 3 weeks together.

⚠️ Level requirement
For our Foundations level students (and up!)
You should be comfortable with the 10 Brazilian Zouk Fundamentals and ready for a challenge.
This course is NOT for complete beginners in Brazilian Zouk.

Due to the nature of the Summer Academy, it is only possible to register together with a partner (leader + follower). During the classes we will be switching partners, however it is also possible to choose to dance with your chosen partner during the classes.
