The UZ Social Hub is back on Saturday 19 September, and this edition comes with a very special guest from Brazil! 🔥
From 14:00–18:00, we're taking over Nova Dance Utrecht for an afternoon of Brazilian Zouk & Lambada, with music by DJ Milada & DJ Denise. Expect four hours of dancing, good vibes, plenty of Lambada mixed into your Zouk, and the relaxed community atmosphere we love at our socials 🧡

Special guest: Rodrigo Delano
Before the social, internationally recognised movement scientist, physical therapist, educator and dancer Rodrigo Delano will teach an exclusive 2-hour workshop from 12:00–14:00.
Rodrigo has been dancing Lambada since 1987 and has spent almost four decades contributing to Brazilian Zouk & Lambada through teaching, research and education. He is especially known for connecting body mechanics and movement science to the way we create flow and safely execute the complex movements found in our dances.
For this workshop, Rodrigo will take us into body mechanics, flow & passive head movements, not simply learning what to do, but developing a better understanding of how and why the movement works in the body.

For the social, you should be familiar with the 10 Brazilian Zouk Fundamentals. UZ students: Essentials completed and up.
The workshop uses Brazilian Zouk fundamental footwork and is also interesting for Bachata Sensual / BachaZouk dancers who want to learn more about body mechanics, flow and passive head movements.
